Her music has taken her to the corners of the earth, and she has collaborated with musicians from Germany, Sweden, Ireland, and Mexico. Everyone had a great time on Halloween, October 31st, 2019, here at the Encinitas Christian Science Reading Room.  We gave out over 1000 pieces of candy and saw some awesome costumes. If you took a picture in front of our big pumpkin and would like a copy, find yourself in the video and email the number to us and we’ll send you the file.

On third Thursdays we have free food, live music, and inspiration.  This month on November 21st we will have secular/inspirational music by the Waits and Free Pizza following a gratitude meeting at 5:00pm.(PLEASE NOTE THE NEW TIME ONE HOUR EARLIER THAN USUAL.)  Music and Pizza to start at 6:00pm.

On Sunday, November 24th, during the downtown Encinitas Street Fair come visit us in the garden where the kids can have fun at our scavenger hunt and get free prizes.

Also, we have a Sunday service at 10:00 am.  You’re invited to come and join us.  We have a great Sunday school for the kids where we teach ethics and morals based on the Bible to the students.  Students may also join us on their own if you need an hour to your self to grab a hot drink across the street or some adult time with a friend.

Nathan James is our featured musician for this month’s Third Thursday Concert Series in our Garden.  Never one to follow convention and always one to think for himself, Nathan James has created a musical identity with his homemade instruments and self taught skills. Armed with his handcrafted washboard guitar and stomping out time on a box made of old fence boards, while singing and blowing harmonica, you are sure to be captivated. Nathan James is a well respected and experienced artist in his field. For over 20 years now he has successfully made his living touring and recording, solely specializing in his passion for blues and American roots music. 

But, join us before he plays at 6:00 for a gratitude/Testimonial meeting.  Testimonial meetings are similar to the Sunday services, but the Scriptural selections are customized to the needs of the congregation and occasion.  You’ll also hear fellow attendees share insights, experiences, and healing they’ve had as a result of their prayer and study of Christian Science.  The readings will be on overcoming adversity
