The Reading Room will be open at 5:00 pm. Come and join the fun and watch the parade . We are right across from the main stage at the Lumberyard, so stop in and say hi and enjoy som pizza and hot cider.

Nearly 100 parade entries will roll, march, cycle, scoot and cruise down the Coast Highway on the most magical night of the year. At this truly special community celebration of the holiday season, thousands of people will be on floats and in bands with tens of thousands more cheering them on as the Encinitas Holiday Parade rolls along Coast Highway 101. The parade begins at 5:30 PM. It is preceded by a 5:00 PM tree lighting ceremony with a brief appearance by Santa at the Lumberyard Shops courtyard.
The theme of the 2024 Encinitas Holiday Parade, “Creativity in Motion,” celebrates the vibrant spirit of innovation and imagination that flows through our community. From colorful floats to dynamic performances, we invite participants to bring their creative ideas to life in a moving display of art, culture, and festive cheer. Whether it’s through dance, music, or unique visual expressions, this parade will showcase the endless possibilities of creativity on the go!
You are also invited to join us for our Sunday church service at the Reading Room in person or on zoom Sunday morning at 10 am PT. After church we have an open discussion about the week’s Bible lesson and/or testimonies of healing and comments and questions about Christian Science.
