Peter Lauterbach: Mandolin, Mandola & Harmony Vocals
Born in Claremont California, Peter bought his first Guitar for $10 when he was 13. He started playing Mandolin as a Senior in High School. After moving to La Mesa in 1980 and Crest in 2014, Peter became active in San Diego’s Blue Grass Music community playing mandolin & singing in various bands. Being a multi-instrumentalist, Peter is no stranger to the Mandolin, Mandola, Guitar, Bass and Auto Harp as well as his favorite instrument, the human voice where he has the ability of creating harmonic structure for those singing with him.
Early Musical influences: My Mother (worked as a Creative Dance Therapist) and Charles Chase (Owner of Folk Music Center) in Claremont. Later Influences are Jethro Burns, David Grisman, Peter Rowan.
Ken Titilah: Bass & Backing Vocals
Born in Long Beach CA in 1951, Ken spent his youth traveling along with his US Navy family from base to base. Settling in the Boston area for High School, Ken started playing guitar and bass for a couple of high school bands in the late 1960’s but gave up organized music, moving to San Diego and focusing on career & family. In his 50’s, he blew the dust off his bass and got back into music creating an Oldies band called the Groovinators followed by the classic rock band The Mojo Brothers and then 5 years with Full Moon Fever, a Tom Petty tribute band. With a desire to play bass with an acoustic band, he was fortunate to hook up with Mark & Peter of the Wait’s.
Our Third Thursday concert series are an alcohol free and family friendly event. It’s an alternative venue for people to come and be inspired.
When painful attacks occurred, I would stop and pray. Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy tells us that there is no disease and that God is all. We can speak the Truth before any error or disease. Pain and discomfort are like a dream, because man is perfect in God’s image and likeness.
This is a video example of what you might hear at a Christian Science Testimonial meeting.
Every Wednesday evening most Christian Science churches or Societies come together to hear and share how they were healed and their life made better through the application of Christian Science.

There will be an example of one of those meetings this coming Thursday before our Third Thursday concert.
