During our service last Sunday we had a full house and a new addition join us for our musical offering. Hamid Rostami, an accomplished classical guitar player, accompanied Elizabeth as she sang “Rooftops” along with some local feathered friends. In addition, Hamid soothed us with a guitar solo as we contemplated the Bible lesson sermon after some most excellent readings by our 1st and 2nd readers.
Next week we will not have a service because we will be participating in the Encinitas street fair on Saturday and Sunday, April 25th and 26th, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Please come to the fair to enjoy this local community event and stop by and say hi and participate in some of our activities.
Our next service will be on Sunday, May 3rd, at our normal 4:00pm time. At this service we will have more music which will include Elizabeth being accompanied by Bill Bailey a concert pianist. After the service we will have a potluck at around 5:15 with the Rancho Santa Fe Church members, our reading room staff, and anyone who attends the service. Bill will continue to play during the potluck and will be doing some new songs and some other surprises. Please join us!
